# Every feature ships explained, and stays that way.

You ship weekly and nobody owns docs full time. Stagewright keeps each feature's video, help article and walkthrough current with the code, and shows where customers stop.

## See which features are explained

Stagewright maps features from your repository and lines each one up with its walkthroughs, help-center articles, usage and support conversations. A feature customers ask about and nothing explains shows up as a gap, and a walkthrough can be drafted from the feature's code and its top support question.

- Drafts say what they were written from, and stay drafts until someone approves them.
- Articles already in Intercom, Zendesk or Productlane are read back in and marked fresh, stale, failing or not checked.

\[Illustration\] Help-center articles read back from Intercom, Zendesk and Productlane, each marked failing, stale, fresh or not checked, with the reason: a failing walkthrough, a UI change after the article's last edit, a label no screen has any more, or no walkthrough covering the feature.

## Nothing goes stale silently

Every walkthrough runs on every pull request it can be affected by. An intended UI change waits for approval in the PR; a broken flow is filed before it reaches customers. The approval is the gate to publishing, so what customers see is always a version someone signed off.

\[Illustration\] The Walkthroughs comment on pull request #412: ▲ 1 regression · Δ 3 UI changed · 6 unchanged. Invite a teammate regressed at step 4 (button “Send invite” is now “Send”) and was filed as ACM-231; three walkthroughs changed on purpose and wait for approval, with before and after frames.

## Where customers stop

Drop-off is counted by the second and lined up with the narration, so you can rewrite the sentence people leave on. Comparisons with people who didn't watch always say who they were compared with, with a holdout when you want to confirm the effect.

\[Illustration\] Example: a still-watching curve for a 1:08 video. It falls from 81% to 64% between 0:40 and 0:46, during the narration line “Roles decide what they can see; admins can change them later.”, so drop-off points at the sentence people left on.
